Most of us know Netflix’s iconic “Da-Dam” sound which has been around since 2015. So where did it come from?
It was released in 2015 by Todd Yellin and Oscar-winner Lon Bender
They wanted to create a sound that would resemble the roar of the MGM lion.
The majority of the 1000 respondents who did not even know that the sound was related to Netflix said that they associated it with the sound of an interesting movie.
It was created by combining several sounds.
Lon Bender’s wedding ring knocking on a wood cabinet and an electric guitar sound combination created the Netflix “Ta-Dam”.
